“I now declare the Weekend in the Park open!” With these words spoken by Queen Shenandoah XCI, the two-day Weekend in the Park is on Saturday, May 5th and Sunday, May 6th, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The event is an annual family fun extravaganza. Both days are held throughout the Jim Barnett Park at 1001 East Cork Street, and include an Arts & Crafts Show, midway games, entertainment and concessions. On Sunday the Safelite Auto Glass Cruise-In Car Show (weather permitting), the Allstate Kid’s Fun Day, and the Subaru of Winchester Adventure Show join the festivities.
Get a 2-day collectible admission badge for $8.00 (includes the arts and crafts show for both days, the midway and concessions on both days, and on Sunday the Safelite Auto Glass Cruise-In Car Show, the Allstate Kids Funday, and the Subaru of Winchester Adventure Show), or 1 day price is $7.00. Children 10 & Under and accompanied by an adult are FREE on both days.
CREDIT CARDS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE GATE FOR ADMISSION.
Parking is available throughout the park as well as in nearby lots. Sunday only transportation shuttles will be provided from parking lots to entrance gates. Donations accepted for shuttle rides and donations go to Relay For Life. Shuttles courtesy of Candy Hill Campground.
