Returning to the Old Town Midway this year is Music on the Midway presented byWinchester Imaging, which is live musical entertainment on a stage located at North Loudoun St and FairfaxLane adjacent to the AutoPark just one block North of Piccadilly St. All shows are FREE and performances will run from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. both Friday and Saturday, May 4 and 5. The Midway, which opens at 10 a.m., is located on Piccadilly Street, Fairfax Lane, North Loudoun Street, and the parking lots of the Wells Fargo Bank, The Bank of Clarke County, and The Winchester Insurance Group. Featuring vendors from over twenty states, the Midway is full of carnival games, novelty items, and food, such as cotton candy, caramel apples, funnel cakes, and corn dogs, along with a variety of international foods.
There will also be a KID ZONE on the Midway. Designed for ages 5 to 12 years old, this area will be located behind the Bank of Clarke County, and is free to the public. The Kid Zone will feature an inflatable obstacle course; a moon bounce; a Magic Show with giveaways; an inflatable slide; kid-related vendors with games, foods and ices; and, a fun lights display.
