Jason Huntsberry, will be the “Spotlight Speaker” at the Valley Health Business-at-the-Bloom Luncheon. Jason joins a powerful program built around previously announced businesswoman Beth Comstock in the role of Featured Speaker.
In early 2016, Jason returned to Winchester as the President and CEO of Schenck Foods Company, the 4th-generation of the family to oversee the business, now celebrating its 90th anniversary. After graduating from the University of Virginia, Jason’s career began to center on providing strategic communications guidance to clients in the energy and telecommunication industries. He worked as an independent consultant and senior vice president at Hill+Knowlton Strategies; served in a similar capacity as a director at Public Strategies of Austin, Texas; and, provided strategic advice/guidance for the Pickens Plan, a $60 million campaign to turn America’s attention to reducing our dependence on foreign oil.
He worked as a consultant for Network Relations, LLC; and was also a consultant for The Riley Group, LLC, where he led a team of regional directors tasked with encouraging ratification of the Korean Trade Agreement. Jason served as regional political director on the John McCain 2008 campaign. He also served as associate director for the Office of Political Affairs at The White House, the National Political Coordinator for Bush—Cheney ’04, Inc., and as Regional Coordinator for the Republican National Committee. Jason served on Capitol Hill and at the White House for ten years. Jason has very deep Festival roots. The Schenck and Huntsberry families have been deeply and fundamentally involved with the Festival since its inception and creation in 1924.
