Marilu Henner was born in Chicago, Illinois. Her maternal grandparents were Greek and her paternal grandparents were Polish. She took her first dance class at age two, went on to teach dance at her family’s studio, and choreographed shows at local high schools and colleges until leaving the Chicago area during her third year of college.
Mike Singletary was a second-round draft pick of the Chicago Bears in the 1981 NFL Draft and the 38th player selected overall. The only college junior to be selected to the All-SWC Team of the 1970s, Singletary earned All-America honors in both his junior and senior years at Baylor, where he averaged 15 tackles per game and established a team record with an almost unbelievable 232 tackles in 1978.

Command Sergeant Major, Randolph Delapena, became the Command Sergeant Major of the Transatlantic Division, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, on February 5th, 2019. The Transatlantic Division provides design, construction execution, and related engineering services directly supporting U.S. Central Command in establishing conditions for regional security and stability.

Ladies’ Horticultural Luncheon guest speaker is Pat Collins. Collins’ interest in journalism began at age 15 when he started writing for newspapers. By his 17th birthday, he had a regular column in the Washington Daily News.
