It was a night full of singing during the second round of auditions for the annual 2017 Car Credit Nation “Apple Blossom’s Got Talent!” contest, held Wednesday Feb. 15 at the Bright Box Theater in Winchester.
Ten semi-finalists were selected, including: Tanya Dallas-Lewis, Grace Dennis, Baby Jackson, Ethan Locke, Kirsten Lyons, Madelyn Martin, Tom Parker, Jimmy Smith, the duo Platinum Hearts and a duo led by Jami Gilbert.

Contestants who win at the three auditions will compete in the semi-finals April 12, and winners from that event will compete in the finals May 3. The finals will be held during the 90th festival whose theme is “Bloomtown: Bringing the WOW for 90 years!” All contests will begin at 7 p.m. at the Bright Box in downtown Winchester. Prizes awarded at the final event include first place, $5,000; second place, $1,500; and third place, $500.

Audience tickets for the auditions are $10 in the downstairs theater and $5 for the upstairs location.
