The first round of auditions for the “Car Credit Nation: Apple Blossom’s Got Talent!” was a huge success! There were 22 contestants that came out on Thursday, February 20th, to strut their stuff for a packed house at Bright Box Theater in Old Town Winchester, Virginia. From Country to Beatbox, Swing Dancing to Bending Bars, and a variety of other incredible singers and performers … the mix of talent was diverse. Everyone who competed undoubtedly had talent, and for the three judges it was not an easy decision to select 10 winners for the evening to move on to the semi-finals on April 17, 2014.
However, as in any competition, there must be a winner, or in this case, a group of winners. Congratulations to the following winners of the evening that will be moving on to the semi-finals: Pam & Steve Springer (swing dance); Patsy Godley (singer); Sabrina Perea, Abby Lopez, and Ale Carino (trio of singers); David Turner (singer); Jessie Pugh (singing and acoustic guitar); Charlee Allman (singer); Emily Schneider (singer); Tommy Heslep (strongman); Meagan Johnson (singing with ukulele); and Ronnie Wolford (singer and acoustic guitar). Below are some random backstage images of the contestants, stay tuned for more performance photos and video from the first round of auditions.
