Anthony's Pizza Weekend in the Park Spring Expo:
Cruise-In Car Show

The best that Detroit had to offer in the glory days of America’s ongoing, deep love affair with the automobile will be on display in the spectacular assemblage of some of the Nation’s finest preserved and restored vehicles at the 23rd Annual Apple Blossom Car Show on Sunday May 5th, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Jim Barnett Park. Automobiles laden with gleaming chrome, perfection paint, and millions of dollars worth of automobile history will be critiqued by judges and admired by Weekend-in-the-Park visitors at the annual car show hosted by the area’s premier car club, Yesterday’s Cruisers, Inc., of Winchester which is a non-profit organization. It was founded in 1987 by local businessmen and car buffs Dan Sullivan, Gary Dunn, Ronnie Hammond, and Ernie Creek.
The club anticipates upwards of 200 vehicles, including classic, muscle, and sports cars, as well as street rods, trucks, and vintage automobiles. Awards will be given to the top 50 open class cars and trucks and to the Best-in-Show Car and Best-in-Show Truck. The first 175 entries will receive complimentary souvenir dash plaques. There will be other activities available in the park, including food, music, entertainment, and arts and crafts. Antique tractors and fire-fighting equipment will also be on display.
Car show chariman, Doyne Teets, will be on hand along with other members of Yesterday Cruisers to make sure you have a great fun filled day and a great show.
